Nice avatar too, I am swiss, got a SIG 550 at home, my father still own's a K31. My time in the army ends this year, so I will pay about 75$ to own my SIG 550 (it will be converted in a semiautomatic)...a K31 costs about 100$ in the arsenal...

SR77 fared very well against that particular rock! A few spine whacks and some prying busted loose whatever I had my heart set on. The GF and I think it was borite. The coating on the spine flaked off a little bit but no big deal, some oil took care of any potential corrosion.

Well, that makes sense that there are that many of them.
I would have to ask my older relatives or mother for specific names, and I imagine anyone they know is very old by now. My mother has met our family in Suisse, however it's been 100 years since my great grandfather settled in Oklahoma.

Did you find the Res-C really helped absorb the shock, do you have a micarta handled blade to compare it with?
