Can you still retire with 20 years, or is it 30 now for full retirement?

Beats me! Never knew they were talking about increasing it. But then again, I don't keep up with it now that I'm out.

Doing well. Just have the Pawn Stars on for background noise and seeing what you ruffians are up to.

We have MNF on, watching the Vikings and Bears play in the cold. Mainly for background noise, can't really watch closely in here
My brother told me they were playing. I like watching the bears, and the Vikings now because of the players that are or spent time in OK. Flipping there now.

I wanted to join to get to see the world. Back then, I'd never been any further away from home than the beach. Six hours.

Still have never been as far west as the Mississippi River. Been to Florida one time, to Alabama once.

Went to NYC once upon a time too, that was a real culture shock for this country boy.

I have a cousin who can retine in 11, he will have 20 in. I think his plan is to stay in the Corps especially since he is 3 up and 3 down.......this is the cousin who started off wrestling for the Corp.

"I wonder how many would fight back if their head was held under water." I am afraid that "THEY" have instilled in our youth the thoughts that SOMEONE will ALWAYS come to their rescue and that NOTHING is ever their fault. BS!

I have not traveled the world but I have been a lot of places with wrestling and coaching, not to mention historical workshops that we have taken the last few years. Been good times, and bad.

Well, the military isn't for everyone, AS A CAREER! But as we said I DO think everyone should serve at least 2 years if for nothing else but the growth it makes you go through.

I wil lsay that there are some good kids in this generation too. I have several in my wrestling room. One thing I try to pass on is not just the knowledge of mans oldest combative sport but also the fact we all must live in the world and our actions affect more than just us.

There are some good kids, that's true. I wish there were more of the good ones. Most around here have no respect for teachers, cops, or anyone else.

Jeff, I can't believe you travel AS FAR as you do with a High School team.

I know that the vast majority of the "good kids" that I see come from sports teams. They learn some rules, self-respect, self-motivation, etc. I like talking to the kids on the sidelines. It's most always yes sir and no sir.
