Set up my camping hammock yesterday, that thing is SUPER comfortable, when I get my other camping toy I'm gonna do up a mock " camping out in an urban environment" thread

Hum.... Did you know that January is Dog Father LE celebration month? The knife, the myth, the legend! Every month is DFLE month! Yes, but for some people it's a little more special. LOL

Nothing but chains or studs are a help on ice, and then it's still slow and easy! No chains, no studs other than the driver , good reason to stay at home unless you just HAVE to go out. Now that is funny

This is gonna sound dumb, but then again maybe not, but you ever seen snow Jared? Ha, most of the people HERE haven't seen snow in person. We can see it on the mountains in the distance, but it never snows here. It was 28 degrees today though. That is really, really cold for us. I did live in the midwest so I am aware of snow. I moved back to California after it was -35*F with a -65*F wind chill for a week. Now that is cold

I'm good, question guys, I have a sig 226e2 9 mm, I'm really feeling the urge to get a 1911 45cal, should I trade the sig for the 1911( if I go compact it would be for concealed carry, the sig is a bit big for that) what do you guys think? I like the E2 series of the Sig. How do you shoot with it? Reason I ask is that I shoot better with a Glock and shoot very well with a 1911. I prefer the full size frame and slide for a 1911 because the little ones can be a hand full and difficult to master.

I know you guys pay hell in the summer but this is the time of year that I want to go south!

Guns are very personal. I tried a few Sigs they felt huge in my hands. 1911 in the other hand feels just right.
