yep.. I want the BOWIE, and I would like to see it 5/16" thick. I was kinda hoping for 3/8", but 5/16 will do just fine! GF - I agree, my EDC is 1/4" too (i wish it was a Howling Fat) and it cuts beautifully! and my HOGFSH is a heck of a slicer. Seems like there's this intuitive feeling that thick blades are less efficient slicers... maybe if you are cutting carrots, or raw potatos..
We need a 5/16" (or thicker) SR-77 BOWIE!!! (Written back in early '07 -- Regulator Premonition?)

My Howling Fat is 1/4 and it's an EDC....thick knives slice too.....sounds kinds like fat girls need lovin too....... OOOOOOOOOOOH!!! Must... not.... respond.... arrrrrrrrr...... Ok i will simply say: yes, i agree, they certainly do... they just have that much more love to give, awwwww yeeeeaah, booooyeeeee!

Oh....I want a HOGFSH! That might be a mission if I land a new job! With current funding, I would find it difficult to appropriate the finacial backing of an endevor of that magnitude.....But that Howling Fat is fantastic.

Paul, it sounds OK to me, as long as GF orders two or more.
