MB, I THINK he said it was a Maxped made bag. But now you got me wondereing. Let me check back a few pages.

I have a few packs. But I am a bit of a gear junky. My problem is I keep all the packs full.

Northface is usualy pretty good quality. But I don't own one of their packs. Just some jackets and raingear. Pricey but decent gear.

I haven't seen a maxped bag there for that price. I hawk that sight like crazy. You can get some great deals but the only bag i have seen for thast price is the LAPG bag. Its a solid piece of gear for the price. Thats where I picked up my Falcon II from.

I think I might start looking for some Keelty again. I was more than happy with the performance of the one I did have. I have a big safety yellow top loader right now, but not sure who the maker is..........works ok going to the range and all but not sure if I want to take it on a long trip. Something in me hates to think a important peice of gear that is carring more important stuff will crap out on me. I know a buddy got a hold of some of the UTG mag pouches as a backup when he was first sent to A-Stan, needless to say they crapped out on him at the first chance they had.

Heading that way right now to see what they have.

Just a FYI, on HBO the Road to Perdition just started.

I was going to go with the utg murse but decided against it as I was just not sure about how it would stand up it it ever got rough. From what I have seen and heard the 511 is just about as tough as the Maxped stuff. Plus I wanted something larger than the Fatboy but smaller than the Jumbo. The 511 push pack will I think work out just fine. I will be able to tell for sure when my SS water bottles and cups get get here and I can put them in the side pouches for fit.

Look forward to it Randy. I had a Jumbo Versa and I packed it heavy, too much really for a single strap situation. That is what keeps me from hitting the Maxpedition gunslinger series.
