I have only paid secondary prices on the AK, EU-17 Magnum and now the Basic 9.

Only the Eu-17 Magnum was more than a reasonable premium for an out of production knife. It's 1 of 28 and I fell in love with the handle, what can I say?

The Rat Daddy and even the old line Rat Mastiff are tempting but I'll just wait for the new Mastiff and Ratweiler and I'll pay list price.

As nice as the Rat Daddy looks (especially the LE), I can't justify it at the price they command.

Arf arf arf... That's my other dog impression.

Remember, they only command what people pay...if it seems high it won't sell....just as you raised the level of command by paying more than what you thought was resonable for the EU.

I paid 325 for my RD....not too bad, yes there are a few asking a bit more...but notice they don't sell. Put up a flag and ask around...I am sure someone has a good one they will let go for a reasonable price.
