Thanks. The shorter ones I shot first last summer. They’re so short because that’s before I figured out how to compress the videos to another format. Those short clips were originally like 15+ megs each. Being on dialup at 44k, I didn’t want the file size much bigger than that. After I did the hawk video I figured out how to convert it to a smaller .WMV file. The hawk video was also like 15 megs, but it’s several minutes (not seconds) long. So, in the future I’ll make longer videos like the hawk video now that I know how to compress the file. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

I heard a "rumor" from my sister that my parents got me a "huge knife" for my birthday, which I can only assume is going to be an RD9 b/c my dad is a Ranger fan. I'll be visiting them this weekend, so we'll see!

Well, the RD9 didn't happen - I got a spyderco sharpmaker though - definately useful. I DID, on the other hand, pick up a CGFBM and it arrived last night. Here she is w/ the DF and RTAK II:

But I don't know. I just put a "D Guard" on it too - just begging to go outside. She's staying in Time Out for now though.

Thanks guys! I'm scared of it. I think that the DF will stay my main "user," but I just don't know...! Since it won't chop 3 times better than the DF (probably not much better at all, honestly!) its hard for me to get past the $$ issue. It has a couple of small rub marks on it though, one on the pommel goes through the finish (from shipping!!! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" /> ), so since its no longer mint... I should just use it huh?
