Go out and whack something with it. Thats what I'm doing with my FBM. I got one coming soon.

Congrats! I just sent you a PM, its kind of off topic and rambles!

The CGFBM has a very interesting feel and balance to it... like nothing else I've ever held. Not as weight forward as the DF, but it still feels very cool.

I would think that the forward weight bias of the FBM would make it a better fighter and the DF would make a better chopper. Another good thing about using the FBM as a fighter it won't get scuffed up. Worst case scenario with the FBM you drop it practicing or someones ribcage puts a big scratch in it. Of course you are more likely to use it like a breaching tool in a combat situation.

I've thought about just holding on to the FBM until I get deployed (which is bound to happen eventually) - but I don't know if the blue G10 will fly w/ the uniform - I may be able to get away with it though.

I'm hoping to get green handles on the Tank Buster if they offer them, and if it ever comes out...

Just get one of those brushes H/D uses to keep his DF clean and wash the FBM along with your other cutlery <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> Hand wash only! Not dishwasher safe! In fact it would probably slice your dishwasher all to pieces.
