Steeley, like that and phone numbers. The internet CAN be like the old telephone party lines, ANYBODY can listen in when you're in a public place, like this. Yah that is stuff I dont want wackos getting ahold of.

And never give out you social, any banking information, your drivers license number unless YOU KNOW FOR SURE the ones you are talking to are legit. If in doubt tell them to mail you a request and IF they are legit they will probably have your address to start with. Does that sound good to you Sar, Todd?

most my knives have a convex edge (either stock or modified by prev. owner). I like a good mix. Hollow ground? Not so much convex. I've also got a few that I won't convex, but there is something sexy about those convex angles! They cut well and are fun to sharpen!

A lot of folks have good success with the mousepad/sandpaper method for convex edges and also strops.

A lot of folks have good success with the mousepad/sandpaper method for convex edges and also strops. I havent searched the mousepaper method, but I did pickup a piece of scrap leather for a strop when I was at the leather shop gettin sheath hardware. Never used a strop either. Just stones on boyscout knives lol.

I couldn't agree more, legit buisness will gladly send you needed documents or requests. When you post pics, don't show your license plate, home address on the mail box ect. It might seem over kill but it's the little things that can cause head aches. Most people are ok but you don't want to take a chance. From the short time I got to know you you seem to have a good head on your shoulder, trust your instinct, you'll be fine <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
