I like Mossberg. Don't know about now of course, but when I was still in the AF the SP's all used Mossberg shotguns. Yeah I know lowest bidder and all that but still, the reliability was there or they wouldn't have met the requirement.

I picked this about 3 years ago for a shotgun. will probably replace the forend and pistol grip for green houge gear. think I would prefer have something with a regular stock.

Jared, Ruger Revolvers ARE rugged. I've been thinking about trading my S&W 3 inch 357 mag for a ruger GP100 with a 4 inch barrel, but I would have to actually handle one and dry fire it first.

That is the kind of pistol grip I am talking about, but I want it with a full butt stock and the speed feed option would be nice, that way you could have 4 rounds of 00 or slugs always within reach.

I still have the single 6 convertible I bought way back in about 1984. Oh, that's 357mag with a separate 9mm cylinder.

Caz i see so much stuff in the isles at the shows go for great prices that sooner or later i will find one . I was a hundred short sunday or i would have had a glock 20 -4 mags night sites and 350 rounds for five hundred. the other dealer i help will order anything i ask him to for 20 $ over cost.

Skunk i have the mossburg 590 with the speed feed stock it holds 9 ready to go then 4 in the stock.

That is one of the things I miss most about living in Ohio, the gunshows and being able to purchase handguns. WV doesn't have any good shows so no handling and taking it home if I like it, there aren't any big stocking dealers here either except for cabela's and their prices are HIGH.

That 500 tactical turkey looks nice, it's even ported!

Hey Marshall, since you dabble in firearms, could the 500 tactical turkey with the ported barrel be had with a conventional pistol grip speed feed stock and not that goofy adjustable stock. I know I am weird, but on my Colt AR that stock is ok. On a shotgun, I want something more solid.
