Plasti dip, I had the same thought. My stepson works for the U.P. railroad, signals section (he builds and refurbishes them) and he dipped SEVERAL of his tools in it. Amazing stuff, and the more you coat it the thicker it gets and it seems pretty darn durable.

I just went back and looked at the pics Dan put up. You could coat the handle all the way up to the plunge line in plasti dip. And you could then just cut off the portion that covered the Chisel ground pommel. The dip would not add very much width but WOULD add a LOT of gripability This little Scraptor is gonna sell VERY well.
