I'll stick with the CG version. In my own eyes it just says HARD use and indestructable, just my opinion.

i hear yall on the sr101 rusting from just looking at it (esp in hawaii!). i own a m9le and it would oxidize even if i used tuf cloth on it...so i just gave it a forced patina with mustard....doesnt rust at all now! so i obviously voted for non-coated.

OR, you could just buy the coated version for cheap, and strip the sucker. That's exactly my point buddy,if ya read my post I said it would cost the same as the coated version.A lot of people strip them so why not just give the option of buying the same blade uncoated. Saves on time and stripper.

The new CF (bwm cf) is way less prone to rusting because they now bead blast them before sharpening, I use the bejeezus out of my cf bwm, wipe it off one my shirt and resheath it almost everyday, and I haven't had a single issue with rust. Anyways, I might buy a uncoated blade if it was a little cheaper.
