Ok here it is, the Updates thread for 2011! Hope Y'all like it.

Well well well. 2010 Turned out to be one for the record books. Oh Wait, IT IS! Check out the 2010 Summary thread and find out all the happenings that I remembered. I know I left out some things and for that I apologize IF you want to know everything, go back and read the entire 30 some pages, it will at times be amusing.

Ok here we go for 2011, the Year of the Rabbit!

The Outdoors and Fieldcraft thread is starting the New Year off with 19,585 posts. We'll see where it goes from there.

The Knives Forum side began it's 2011 life with post number 440,007. Yup, broke into the 440K arena of posts and the ending count for today is 440,014.

The ZDC forum default page count has begun life on page 902 of the Death chat.

The NEW YEAR began life with a starting post count of 463,971 posts and is ending todays count with 464,007 posts.

So steadly marching toward our 500,000 goal and removing our ending count for today we have 35,993 posts to go.

Here is to a great year!

Ok, here we are on the 2nd day of the New Year and already we're setting records! Yup, we have increased our counts over yesterday!

At this time our Outdoors and Fieldcraft section is at 19,588 posts, up 3 from yesterday.

The Knives Forum section is now at 440,195 posts, up from 440,007 yesterday morning. Not a bad one day increase!

The ZDC page count for the forum default users is now at page 907 up from 902 yesterday morning.

The total forum post count is now at 464,189 posts which is up from 464,007 for an increase of 182 posts.

Ok now for our goal quest. As of this post we now have 35,811 posts to go! Yup, we'll get there, just keep on a postin!

YEEHAW! SAWADEE folks (that's Thai for Hello for those of you that are language challanged). OK the new year is close to a week old and it's starting out with a bang, and if there is any doubt just check out the Double Belly Kel Tec shotgun lazi posted up! I think most of us would quote Will Smith for this thing!

Ok let's get on with the numbas

1. The Outdoors and Fieldcraft section is not at 19,588 up from 19,588 Sunday morning for a 0 post gain. Hey, that's just pretty normal for that section.

The Knives Forum side is now at 440,778 up from 464,195 for a gain of 583 posts!

The ZDC page count is now at 932 pages for a page increase of 25 pages!

Ok the BIG numbers. The TOTAL post count for the entire site is now at 464,774 for an increase of 585 posts!

OK, using these new numbers that leaves us with needing 35,226 posts to reach our vaulted goal of 500 thousand posts.

We'll get there someday...someday soon. I'd bet we'll be there by the time Blade rolls around.

We are even closer since Randy posted the numbers!

Ok we are just shy of 20 hours away from the New Year being one week old. We have already offered up some impressive numbers, numbers that will only grow by leaps and bounds as Dan continues to bring us things that we want.

The Outdoors and Fieldcraft seciton has remained the same at 19,588 posts. On the surface is sounds depressing, but hey, it's winter. Not that many folks are out in the wild at this time of the year. It'll pick up, just you hide and watch!

The Knives side is now at 440,919 up from 440,778 yesterday morning. That gives us an increase of 143 posts.

The ZDC page count for the default page users is now at 936 which is up from 932 from yesterday for a 4 page increase. Not to bad for a cold dreary winter day.

The TOTAL forum post count yesterday had 464,774 posts. Today it is at 464,917 for an increase of 143 total posts.

Ok using these LARGER numbers tells us that we have 35,083 to go before reaching out FIRST goal of 500,000 posts!

Well it's now been 24 hours an 43 minutes since the last update and Yes Margaret, there IS something to report. HIGHER NUMBERS! Hehe, Let's Giddy Up GO (know that one TOM?)

Ok the Outdoors and Fieldcraft was setting at 19,588 for a few days. Well We've had some posting done. It now sets at 19,590 posts for a two post increase!

The Knives forum side has likewise witnessed an increase. It was just yesterday morning that it was setting at 440,919 posts and today it has now go into a higher range. The new count is at 441,016 for a 97 post increase.

The ZDC page count (for us normal folks <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> ) is at 937 up from 936 just yesterday morning. That yields a 1 page increase for for those of you that failed math (Hey Politically correct don't live here)!

The TOTAL ScrapYard knife site post count is now setting at 465,014. Yup we have once again gone into a high thousand count. Why it seems like it was only yesterday that we were at 464,917 posts! That gives us a forum post count increase of Can you guess (see above for a clue) 97 POSTS!

That means we now have 34,986 posts to go for 500,000. You know it seems like just yesterday that we needed OVER 35 thousand.

97 posts? Randy, you're slipping. You usually talk to yourself at least that much a night! Do we need to sent the guys with the funny white jackets to come see you?

If you did that, I wouldn't get ANY posting done, I'd be to busy RUNNING!
