chuck and i finally put the handles on the scrapizashi today. i'll let him post the pictures. the neoprene handles made a big difference in how hard you can chop. you can beat the crap out of anything and not really feel much.


paper wheel guru and knife sharpener. pm me if you need a knife sharpened.

I'm curious as to why you didn't cover the tang completely? like they do on samurai swords, I would think that would decrease the shock and vibrations.

Thought I might wrap the end with leather. Had not considered an additional decrease in shock from extending the slabs.
The amount of shock now is a small % of the orig. cord wrap. The extra tackiness of the grip, along with the additional girth of the slabs make it a dream to hold and use <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/bowdown.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />
