And a SYKCO 911

[Linked Image from i106.photobucket.com]

What are the specs on the SYKCO 911?

Big, thick, a bit heavy, not too expensive!

Want one! (I think my DFCG is a bit too heavy to carry around!) <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

Dan when you do the 711 do sage and black!!!! Or I'll defect to Cold Steel. So there.

I asked people that went to Blade and they said they don't know the exact specs, but that it was thinner than the CGDF...which is fine by me! I want lighter and faster

I wonder if Dan would go thinner than .25" for a big chopper!? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ooo.gif" alt="" />

With that grind line the 911 in .25" would be light and fast in hand. Good looking knife too! Be very nice in black and sage... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

Just joined here. I've been looking for a large chopper/splitter for camping. I want a knife I can bet my life on not to break. I wanted the dogfather originally but the price is a bit too much now days. Then I thought about a trail master but I'd rather buy the toughest I can get. I want a knife I can bet my life on not to break. That 911 looks good. I like the looks of the res c handles (looks comfy) Do we have any specs yet? Price? Any clue when it will be released? Thanks.

Welcome to the Yard nervjiggy. At this time no official word has been released on any of the releases (specs or price wise) other than the 511.

Welcome to the Yard, nervjiggy! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

I agree, sounds like the Scrap Yard 911 or maybe the Swamp Rat 911 might do the trick if you can wait a little while. I'm sure it will definately be worth the wait. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

I got to handle them at the Blade show, and I'm a huge fan of bigger chopper type knives, I'm kinda hopin the 911 will be next after the 511. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crossfingers.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crossfingers.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crossfingers.gif" alt="" />
