I just got my work schedule for next year and it looks like I'll be working on the 8th. I could probably take that day off but I wont be able to make it to the pre show trough raid at the hotel. I'll probably stay at an extended stay hotel nearby.

I have never been to a pre-show trough raid at the hotel, though I was in town. I'm not sure they do it for Blade, or maybe I was just kept in the dark. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smirk.gif" alt="" />

No trough raid? Now I won't feel like I missed out on something.

Looks like I'll be going alone. We have a baby girl due at the end of March and we decided it would be too much to ask to have my in-laws watch a 2 1/2 year old boy and a 2 1/2 month old girl for 3+ days. My wife has zero interest in knives, but she really wanted to go. Guess I'll just have to proxy for her.

It'll be nice to finally meet those of you who are able to go.

Adam, I think that your wife would enjoy herself if she went, but I understand about the kids. This year we will be driving and making a vacation out of it, stopping for a couple of days at my son's home near Huntsville Alabama before and after Blade.
