It's a beater now that's for sure.I hope to get some time today to go do some chopping and maybe compare it to the Crash Rat.
 
 Jeff, I LOVE the combo edge!!
 I don't have much experience with full convex choppers but I love the bite on this Asym edge.
 I also like having a choice for carving/whittling.
 When I did the fuzz stick I tried both sides and found the convex side tried to bite into the wood more. Now I don't know if that's because I'm not used to it or because I'm more experienced with the V edge.
 Either way, it chops awesome and I LOVE it!!

Great to see it being used for what is was made for. 
 I thought the handle would have withstood more than a batoning though.

i would have thought that the handle would have worked better than it did as well but hey if youve made it better for you then its good
