It's a beater now that's for sure.
I hope to get some time today to go do some chopping and maybe compare it to the Crash Rat.

Jeff, I LOVE the combo edge!!
I don't have much experience with full convex choppers but I love the bite on this Asym edge.
I also like having a choice for carving/whittling.
When I did the fuzz stick I tried both sides and found the convex side tried to bite into the wood more. Now I don't know if that's because I'm not used to it or because I'm more experienced with the V edge.
Either way, it chops awesome and I LOVE it!!

Great to see it being used for what is was made for.

I thought the handle would have withstood more than a batoning though.

I'm hoping to put it in one of your dangler rigs!!! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />
It came with the original leather sheath but I'm a left so it REALLY needs some Mashed Cat greatness!!

Great pictures, thanks for sharing them.

It's a pity about the scaring on the handle.

I told my wife I wanted to be cremated. She made me an appointment for tomorrow afternoon. grin
