People tend to think we have it easy. If we get disabled on the job and can't work we are SOL. 3 years at 2/3rd pay and you pay your own insurance and then you are done. No retirement nothing.

Thats why I won't do what they want. I cant get a prosthetic part put in and be back in 2 months. Its just not some supercool geneticly cloned stuff. I'm good with having a few plastic and metal parts.

My dad had both his knees replaced and it changed his life. He wascripled before that and only 52. now hes 58 and in the best shape of his life.

I don't need a whole new joint just some parts. My wife has had both knees totally replaced. Recovery sucked but she gets around just fine. Had the first one done at 35 years old.
