Just got a look at the weather forecast. it may be a good storm today. We have a low barometric pressure and the storm is just getting here. It may sit here a while.

It would be nice to see what they are prediciting. A foot and a half. I have my snow plow thrown on the 4 wheeler and Wood set aside for the fireplace.

I got a chance to use the 7-11 a bit today. I used it to knock down a chunk of firewood for kindling. I batoned a healthy piece of pine down to 1/2 inch shingles and then down to 1/2 inch sticks. Worked like a charm.

I think this thing will be the blade of choice for a camp knife this year.

Evening guys! New toy, terrible pic, marlin 38/357 lever, with a larger lever and skinner peep sights, can't wait to hit the range this weekend

was thinking peep sight and hooded front sight if I ever get a go at one. also thinking something like that would be slick in a scout scope setup.

Thats one of the rifles on my list Jrod. Those things are a blast <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

Yeah, didn't get it all setup till last Friday, then was in the Keys, then sick for 3 days, finally feeling back up to speed. The action with the stock lever was rough ( it was also a tight fit) way better with the DRC big loop.

I put an open sight ( it comes with a hooded sight) on there since they said you may need to change it with the higher peep sight, but I'm going to try both, see if the hooded one works

It's been waiting to be taken out for a freaking week, hoping this weekend is good
