They are not cheap but they are nice....

S&W M41 ...that one is a 1968 model that has consumed 10s of thousands of rounds and still shoots better than I can dream of... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
I also have a Colt Officer Model Match revolver that is built like a tank and shoots like a rifle... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
Don't fear buying an "old" .22. It is very hard to wear them out and even one that is not "pretty" can be mechanically sound and provide you a very cheap entrance.
