I would have already bought the Swamp Rat Rodent 9 except for the finger groove. In my experience, most handles with finger grooves raise hot spots after just a mild bit of chopping. Tough is good. During my 06-07 deployment, I used a custom 52100 blade from my buddy Shane Justice to pry a frozen 120mm mortar round out of its carrier. The downside to 52100 is its tendency to rust in a heartbeat. I think I'd like SR77 even better than SR101, especially for a large blade. Hell, while I'm wishing, I'd like a brown handle and sage blade. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> But really, if it's at least 9" of blade, and doesn't have any finger grooves, I'll buy it. It would be great to return home from deployment in November, and have a 1111 or 1211 to take camping with me, to compare to my Camp Defender. John
