I know live, but it was wet, it was muddy and slippery, the dead one I was using has shattered (I'm not a small man)when I used it to break a nasty slip. I chopped down a tree, chopped of the branches with the 7 and then used a Ka-Bar large Dozier folder in AUS-8 to finish the ends of the stick and both went back, 7 into the sheath and into the backpack and Dozier into the pocket. When I got home i took them both out to clean, and 7 has developed some black patina on the bevel, while the Dozier in stainless steel had a bunch of rust spots. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ooo.gif" alt="" /> I know stainless is not stain resistant, but SR-101 is supposedly rusting very quickly...
