Will look a lot better with a 9 in the picture! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Unfortunately recently missed out on a CG DF <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/doh.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/mad.gif" alt="" />, but I'll keep trying!

One thing i forgot to mention, and it's a big one is that on a previous hike I used the 7 to cut a live tree for a walking stick. I know live, but it was wet, it was muddy and slippery, the dead one I was using has shattered (I'm not a small man)when I used it to break a nasty slip.
I chopped down a tree, chopped of the branches with the 7 and then used a Ka-Bar large Dozier folder in AUS-8 to finish the ends of the stick and both went back, 7 into the sheath and into the backpack and Dozier into the pocket.
When I got home i took them both out to clean, and 7 has developed some black patina on the bevel, while the Dozier in stainless steel had a bunch of rust spots. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ooo.gif" alt="" />
I know stainless is not stain resistant, but SR-101 is supposedly rusting very quickly... So in my experience SR-101: 1, AUS 8A: 0! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />
