Not really a war, but a German infantry officer is coming to stay with me in August. Maybe I will just pick a fight with him.

I like the looks of that CRKT Prowler. I actually thought about ordering one instead of the HEST F. 2.0, but they are discontinued.

This: ![[Linked Image from img252.imageshack.us]](http://img252.imageshack.us/img252/4452/imageqpcc.jpg) ![[Linked Image from img100.imageshack.us]](http://img100.imageshack.us/img100/2651/imagehkx.jpg) Its performance to price ratio is insane when you compare it to an XM-18/24. This thing is just amazing in every way. It is built like a tank, yet the contouring of the scales and the weight due to the milled out liners make it a knife you could definitely EDC. Plus, you've gotta love ELMAX! I'm getting a 3.5" XM-18 in August because I can get it at wholesale, but if I couldn't I would be more than content with the 0560. If you don't have one, I would definitely recommend snagging one.

Nice Knife Ryan, but at $260.00 I just don't know. Now if I was still single, yeah, good chance.

HEST folder. That's why I don't tell anyone I carry an Emerson Combat Karambit in my pocket. I DO NOT use the pocket clip.

I'm sorry guys but I do have to say this, Cold Steel Voyager. Relatively inexpensive holds a decent edge, and above average customer service. I actually had to abuse one to save my hand and I snapped the blade off. They replaced it, no questions asked.

I will second the Spyderco Endura (or Delica). I have been carrying one every day through 4 generations of change since 1992 and they have never let me down. I especially like the full flat ground models because I like thin slicers.
That Zero Tolerance is nice. I just can't spend that much on a folder. I don't spend that much on a fixed blade anymore unless it says BUSSE on it.
Be prepared.......It is more than a motto it is a way of life.
