I have found my happy place. I managed to get in a motorcycle ride and then spent some quality time at the range. I had to qualify on a couple pistols.
Now if I could get them to let me combine the two. Shooting from my motorcycle is a skill set I can use

Found this on another forum: http://fnforum.net/forums/freestyle-room/33319-heres-constructive-post-election-vent.htmlInteresting to note that only one murder has occurred with a legally owned machine gun since 1934 according to that petition blurb. What are your thoughts? Do machine guns and SBR/SBS present a viable option for self and home defense in the face of those who do not care about sawing off a shotgun illegally to enter your house, kill you and take your stuff?

I think SBS and SBR are great for home defense. They aren't illegal now in most states. You just need a Tax Stamp.

I agree on machine guns, they are pretty pointless except in the hands of an army/resistance/etc. of some kind, in terms of tactics.
However if you look at most available weapons today, even in countries which only allow single shot long guns, most can still be easily converted SBS/SBR,
And it makes me think about how pointless it is to restrict something that anyone with a hacksaw and a disregard for the law can circumvent.

After years of using them. I have very liitle use for full auto. Its great for suppresive fire. For anything I use a rifle/carbine for its not useful.
I would still love to have an old MP-5.

I think SBS and SBR are great for home defense. They aren't illegal now in most states. You just need a Tax Stamp. Apart from the extra investment in time and money, don't you open yourself up for inspections and all kinds of things? Excuse my ignorance on this subject, but I just can't ever see myself going through all the hoops, not because I have anything to hide, but because I'm lazy and cheap

After years of using them. I have very liitle use for full auto. Yeah, I figured they were most useful in larger groups with a definite level of cooperation.

You are inviting them in for inspections if requested. I have never heard of it happening though.

sbr means weighing a lot of options. only thing I would likely sbr is a AR15 lower or a 10/22. reason i say that is because it would have to something versatile or something I would shoot a whole lot.
same thing with a suppressor. would likely be something multicaliber or just .22lr.
want to get my money's worth out that stamp if I can...
