Reading a thread about stripping a Busse a minute ago got me thinking about whether i should strip and polish my 1311 when i get it.
is it possible to do on a knife with a Res C handle?

The big question for me is do I use the numbered one or the standard one.

That sounds like a lot of work. I guess if you are lookin to make it a show piece it would be cool.

That sounds like a lot of work. I guess if you are lookin to make it a show piece it would be cool. I agree on a lot of work for sure. If the coating ever got that bad then maybe. I kinda like the battle scar look of the coating on a well used piece of steel.

I think stripping the 1311 would be a pity... It just looks so awesome as it is!
And yes, it would have to be all oily. Even as a showpiece...
Having only one pancake, leaves more room for bacon!
