My dive knife: ![[Linked Image from i1219.photobucket.com]](http://i1219.photobucket.com/albums/dd439/Rma80/Knive/Knivsamling045.jpg) The design is really simple. Just two edges. Many diveknives are over complicated, IMO. The Dog Bootie would do the trick!

Would be interesting to see a Dog Booty style blade, with a very simply made Res-C handle (as in the knife you posted above, Rasmus).
I will settle for a paracord wrap, but a Res-C would be purdy awesome.

Do a cord with epoxy... or bees' wax. That would work really well for me.

Nice knife. I noticed Chandler Az USA A dive knife from the desert, they must have checked it out at Lake Pleasant, it's 175 feet deep. Who makes it? Thanks Al My dive knife: ![[Linked Image from i1219.photobucket.com]](http://i1219.photobucket.com/albums/dd439/Rma80/Knive/Knivsamling045.jpg) The design is really simple. Thanks, Al. It is a Katz. The Avenger diveknife... I had never thought about it coming from the desert They may well have taken it to lake Pleasant... It sure works well.

Curious...would the Dog Bootie work as a good dive knife?
Has anyone wrapped a handle with paracord yet? (I haven't seen one)
Has anyone stripped one? How rust resistant is that special super cool new metal?
I think I wanna get one, strip it, wrap it, blunt the tip, and take it to the water with me. Actually...could also add a few serrations to the top edge also...hmmm. I say, Why NOT!!! I'm sure the HDD Dagger would make a great dive knife!

I don't dive but I do kayak fishing as much as I can, often in salt water. Generally I stay soaked as does my knife.
Infi works very well, slightly modified Meaner Street in my case... I rinse it off after use just as Private Klink suggested. No problems at all with rust.
The Bootie is intriguing to me, but I'd have to convert the double-edge into a false top edge for legal reasons in Texas. It is ridiculous that I am licensed to carry a concealed pistol, but can't carry an uber-dangerous double edged knife.
I don't understand why we have the right to arm bears, but not dogs... weird.
