Now, everyone, bear in mind I AM NOT dissing the other three branches of the Military. Just going on my personal observations while I was in. And I DO know that things have gotten better. One thing, when I first joined I got paid $365.00 every two weeks!

US military service has much more opportunities and careers to offer than our defence forces. It seems to be a good way to go.

I just finished shoveling the sleet and snow off the deck; yesterday I was cleaning grass from my mower while wearing a tee-shirt!

I do get a lot of allowances in this job though. I made six the last year I was in Germany, but a LOT of it went to rent.
