Shrews are very small. To give you an idea, various North American shrews weigh just a few grams. They are the smallest living mammals.

I guess it could have been a mole then, or perhaps even a large mouse.

It was inside the dump, so whatever it was had a lot of food!

I had went up to look for two grizzley bears that had been in and out of the area for the last couple of days. Closest I had gotten was seeing their eyes about 50 feet off one night. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif" alt="" />
