since it will be pretty dark while you're out, the one I have would probably be sufficient, but when you take into consideration the diffraction and reflection from the surface and first few inches of water, the brighter one might be a little handier. dunno, though. the one I bought has a reflector, so it provides a nice, tight beam; the one with more LEDs doesn't have either a lense or reflector, but it is higher wattage.

For work, I haven't yet traveled overseas. As the business grows, I will. In the future, I'll be doing a lot of "destination weddings". While I'm there, I'll traipse through the wilderness and get some spiffy nature shots, too. As the nature photography business grows, I'll be making more international trips, specifically for nature photography purposes.
