I suspect the only way we'll see a color combination other than black on black is if a contractor orders some Scrap Yard knives with different colors and we end up with another mil overrun.
FWIW, I am against anything that increases the prices of Dan's knives . . . PERIOD! Then YOU could just buy the black ones, Bruce. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

I think one of the reasons people keep asking about micarta is the colors possible. We know that RES C, Cordura, and paint are all available in colors. The price increases on the various color options would be no where near the cost of micarta handles or polished blades. This way there could be variations in the same model. Some collectors will want them all. Others would be content with the standard black. I requested the same thing of another much larger knife company. Naturally, they ignored me!
