Faded woodland is very effective. The older version of it (after ERDL and before the "current" version) had more brown and less black. I always liked it. Ripstop does fade to a grayish-green-brown.

I've experimented with soaking woodland in a VERY VERY VERY MILD bleach solution. My results weren't great, but I think I could have perfected it.

I've probably tested 30 patterns and colors. I'm totally committed to coyote brown & tan, multicam and woodland.
