I was referring to the "tolerant wife" post, not the orange colored handles! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Whew! Good to hear. I was getting worried. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/barf.gif" alt="" />

I guess I can sort of appreciate some people wanting Bright yellow or something in case they drop it and makes it very easy to find.

But, personally, I dislike the looks of certain colors so much for my knives, I will HANDS DOWN take basic natural looking colors - And I will HAPPILY search and scrounge if I ever drop my knives (which I rarely do <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> ). And if need be, I will make sure I have a sheath that securely holds my knives. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif" alt="" />

For me, Res-C only looks good black. I never liked the tan and the putty/gray color is so-so at best.

For micarata, I like dark "brown" canvas, green canvas or linen, greenish brown mixed if dark ..... and good ole' black. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

For G10, I just like black.

Then I like lots of different types of stabilized woods, but I don't like shrinking. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

Certain other natural materials can look VERY nice in the right applications: stag, Giraffe bone, etc.

But, practical or not, I can't go with fruity "Candy" colors. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/barf.gif" alt="" />

I can't understand how many people got so excited about white either (?????) <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/barf.gif" alt="" />

To each their own I guess. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

I of course don't like blade coatings. But, if I did, I actually have to appreciate some of Busse's recent Tan and Sage colors.

My recent NMSFNO with tan scales and Sage coating is actually pretty nice looking ( <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif" alt="" /> )

But, tan Res-C doesn't work "for me" nearly as well as Tan micarta. Although, I have heard quite a few people say they like tan Res-C. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smirk.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

I have to admit, I am a "Little" curious about the "possibility" of "DARK" Brown Res-C. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />
