I hated it when it came out, but Jerry says it is popular with helicopter crews. I think it is a specialized blade design that is useful for its intended purposes. It probably works better than it looks. Honestly, it may have more utility than my HG55LE. Sometimes we buy knives for their looks, sometimes for their funtion, but usually a bit of both. If you like it, get one. It is a Busse, after all.
