This brings another thing to mind. Boiling. I hope all those who consider the treatment of water also factor in the use of a stove along with the cookware to boil water. In the event of a catastrophe you will need to consider everything. I even thought about buying the same calcium hypochlorite tablets we use at work. Don't confuse the stuff with sodium hypochlorite:
