Sand paper/mouse pad works too. I just reprofiled my first blade that way. A Gerber Freeman in S30V that had an insanely dull edge and a wickedly squirrely secondary bevel. The mouse pad worked well--reprofiled as I sat through one sitcom. Now I'm trying to get it sharp. Probably could've taken it down to a much finer grit paper but I'm trying to strong arm it on a strop with the aggressive abrasive <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> May go back to paper for a bit. S30V is some hard stuff to work with!

All this is tangential of course since the WAR DOG has a CONVEX SECONDARY BEVEL! Woo Hoo!
