Thank You Guys. I would rather get her something like that than spend 100 on me for something.

Good move on the Mountain House food; tough to find without being insanely gouged. I have to smile watching you continually buying gear; you're going to end up with a pile of stuff you will likely never really use, but it gives you "bragging rights".

Yeah I know Tom. But I think I finally have all the "Packing" gear I need now. I'll have kinda sorta large packs for Patty and myself PLUS I will have a bag larger than the Malaga to have as a Always with us bag in the PF II that will also provide a place for water bottles and a good FAK. Just a couple more first aid things I can't get locally and I'll be set. I want a couple packs of compressed gauze and another izzy bandage so both FAK kits will be outfitted the same. Do I REALLY think we will ever need this stuff, not really, at least not beyond the normal Boo boo stuff, but I still want to have it on hand for a Just in case. Oh and I need to get one more water filter. I am thinking about this one. http://www.gearassistant.com/survivor-filter-pro-review/

I got in on the Olight flash sale. Picked up the PL Mini 2 Valkyrie and a i5T. I like the quick detach feature on the weapon light and will probably try it on my M&P compact. The smaller light may replace my Surefire E1L.

After all this popped off my wife said she was glad with the prepping I had done. Hadn't heard that from her before! Was good not to have to sweat the sell outs of grocery stores and worry. Gotta say though I figured alcohol would be bought out and TP wouldn't be a problem. Go figure.

Just keep on "Prepping" Rich. Yeah I was surprised at Patty as well. She suggested we get a small charcoal grill and a couple bags of charcoal or so just "In Case" we couldn't depend on electricity or gas to fix our food or boil our water (If it still works).

"Propane and propane accessories". Hank Hill had it right.

We've still got a dozen of those 1 or 2 pound propane bottles for our Big Buddy heater. I guess I could get something that would hook up to them, AND I have the accessory cord to hook the heater up to a 10 pound bottle. Guess that would work as well, or at least maybe with an adaptor.

Hank Hill was the main character in the TV series "King of the Hill". He worked for a propane company, and it was what I call a cartoon series. You can buy propane converters for a Coleman stove, that way you don't have to store white gas or cans of liquid fuel. When we used our Big Buddy and Pro-Com heaters I just hooked up to 20# containers of propane. Some years back we had a massive ice storm and were without power for a week. While many folks were shivering we were warm and toasty thanks to our preps, and ate well thanks to our propane cooktop and Brinkman camping oven.
