I'm very glad you are doing well, Bors. Please excuse me for asking a stupid question, but I really don't know what a galbladder does. I know a fellow who had his galbladder removed and he was back to work pretty quickly. Sounds like you are doing well.

I know a fellow who had his galbladder removed and he was back to work pretty quickly. Sounds like you are doing well. Vic it's not a stupid question at all. It stores and reduces bile from the liver then it secretes it into the duodenum when fatty food enters the intestine. When the bile is over processed it can lead to stones (this is what I had). These can block the plumbing resulting in major discomfort. The wiki link bld522 gives explains it in a lot more detail.
