I think this extended dry spell of SY steel is about to end. With the big military orders done and a new building for increased production, I think all Busses, including SYKCO, will be coming at us fast and furious.
I am "optimistic" that we will get some sort of "Scraps" .... "Sometime" AFTER Knob Creek...... don't know what, don't really know when and don't know how many of whatever .... (???) ..... so for whatever that's all worth.
That is about the extent of my optimism anymore.
As for my part in being a realist, I am sure something will happen eventually. But, with all of the mis-information and lack of relevant info, we still don't know when or what.
Three weeks / two weeks ..... bah .... all meaningless at this point. Sorry, that is just the reality.
But, in reference to the extended dry spell about to end vs. military orders being "DONE", don't overlook that Knob Creek is right outside of Fort Knox Military reservation for a REASON!!!
At this point, I am very confident all of this "Wall of Infi" stuff is just a teaser (carrot on a stick) for us on the web to hold our interest and ultimately is obviously intended to be used to gain military interest - not just offerings at a show.
Busse has higher business aspirations right now than web-stuff. Web-stuff appears to have been demoted to a side marketing venture at best.
If it doesn't sell at Knob Creek, I am very sure the remains will be offered on the internet. And I am fairly confident there will be some scraps.... at least scraps of high priced INFI.
There will undoubtedly be a KnobCreek-Ganzaaaa in two/three/"few" weeks to sell the leftover Infi scraps.
I assume there are more Scrap Yard knives than were shown on the wall (?????), but on the wall, there were only about 10 or so Res-C handled knives. And about 10 or so of what appeared to be the new Ratweiler.
I doubt they will have any problems selling 10 Ratweilers and 10 Res-C handled knives at Knob Creek.
But, there were hundreds of Infi pieces..... That should tell us something about priorities.
However, I "kind of" doubt they would go to Knob Creek with such a small representation from Swamp Rat and Scrap Yard. There is probably more being made or stashed somewhere else (?????).
.... Or, Supply and Demand could be at hand. If INFI is in such high demand at high prices, why would Jerry care to waste time with Scrap Yard and Swamp Rat?
We don't really know.
Because of Military influence, I get the impression that Knob Creek has become a close 2nd to Blade for the Busse clan.
In any event, we are just a bunch of stray mangy alley dogs hoping and waiting for some scraps to be thrown out to the dumpster...... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/paperbag.gif" alt="" />
If you want to assure yourself of getting something, you probably should be at Knob Creek. - early.... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smirk.gif" alt="" />
.... for me, that is only about 30 hours on the road round trip and about $300 - $400 in gas. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif" alt="" />
Personally, I am "trying" not to stress about it. Maybe I will get something... I don't know. I don't know what will ultimately be offered or when. But, I don't have the funds to play hurry up and snag all of this at once - now or never - games.
..... good luck.
