nice. i skipped on both of those blades but the recon scout i just got is giving me doubts about my decision to pass on the sod. a heavy 7" blade on a light rubber handle does make a great knife. i may have to grind down this guard.

Actually, mine was never a Recon Scout, just a blade blank for one. Somebody we know who has more than one RS sent them to BRKT for the treatment. Mike said they would look like mine, which is what he wanted. I'll go look for some pics.
