I made my thousandth as the start of a new thread - made it easier for Klink to pinpoint the exact time when I hit 1k, and update the JYD list accordingly.

Last time I visited Hawaii was December of 2000. I should go back, soon. Yeah! Get back here and take some awesome pics of our islands <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> I want to. And, if I am lucky enough to have things work out with the woman I'm interested in, then she'd make a perfect companion for the trip. That would be perfect! I feel sorry for people who come to Hawaii for the first time with their kids. I think the first trip here should be only as a couple so they can truly enjoy the beauty and spirit of the islands without kids crying, screaming, etc. I dunno about that. I really, really enjoy my ex's kids. I love showing the the world, exploring, playing, taking them places, etc. It would be a blast to visit Hawaii with her 2 year old and her 5 year old. Nonetheless, if things go well with M., then visiting Hawaii with her would be lovely.

Hawaii is one of the few states I have not been to. I missed a great chance when a friend of mine lived there. He was pulled back early or I would have visited. Pulled back early? Was he Military? No, he moved out for busienss, but the business changed direction. he was only out there about a year.
