I love dem Hinderers. The longer I wait, the higher the price goes.

OK, so here's my first benchmade/axis lock. Pretty cool idea! That is a solid lock up! Those iddy-biddy springs last? This is a solid knife with some heft. Feels like what I would call hard use but not too big overall. I'll carry it for a bit and see what I think...if it's not for me I'll do a WTT for a mini griptilian with the same blade profile that I like. I also like my little SAK so much I decided I wanted a big brother for the w/e's and hikes. If I was more into simple function and less collection...the trekker is probably all the folder I could really use..but where is the fun in that??!!

add: forgot to ask- what's the deal with benchmade and the color boxes? What does a black box mean?

It's their class system. Black class is geared more toward military and law enforcement.

Here's a few folders I have acquired in the last few months. The first is a large regular Sebenza, second is a Hinderer XM-18 and the third is a Burke Production Rockstar. The Sebenza is my favorite and is always with me. It just seems to fit my hand the best.

Nice blades Walker. Man that JB looks like it means business. You could proably dismantle a Buick with that thing!

Thanks SkunkHunter. The JB is quite a stout folder with titanium handles for half the cost of a typical Sebenza. It's a great value but a little hard to find.

i am really addicted to my current set up, carrying my SD blade "a safe keeper 3 by cold steel" on the front of my belt then a two folders on my right side and my OHT on my left side, im feeling so naked without my 110 folding hunter (and jeff i have not forgotten about you, i just need my paycheck and bills taken care of so i can afford to send it to you)
