Great knife!!!
I have a Fehrman Final Judgment that I brought to Kenya along with my E-BM. I mainly used it as I used my E-BM the last time and my SHBM the time before that. That and I just recieved it. It performed really well. The cpm3v is actually carbon steel.
I love all my knives and use everything. Sure I use more than others (Busse) but so far I have found that all suit my needs when here or abroad and each have their own strengths and weakneses. Somtimes when out hiking I prefer to carry my small Pukko (that sounds bad)or just a pocket knife. Somtimes I prefer the smaller, chubby blades because they can carve better and slice trail food better than my bigger blades.
On Hoods Woods (Gravelface actually responded to the thread) there was a Scrap Yard thread where people were not bad mouthing the Busse line but called them over hyped. Then someone chimed in about their Mora being the best knife for everything, even a Busse. That is his opinion and for him that knife may work. For other people they may have something else.
I like this forum because we do not bad mouth other knives as we all own many other company brands. I love my cold steels (the ones that I got years ago, the ones now have quality problems), I love my Fehrman.... But Busse the first Good knife company that I ever ordered from, all other knives/companies came after. Before that I had an $8 Yugoslovian knife given to my by my father when I was a boy. The typical, hollow handled, saw back thingy. Lord knows how it survived as I used to ram it into pennies and they would stick. Saw and baton wood and even use it when climbing by ramming it into the terrace walls on the river banks. If I knew then what I know now I wouldn't even cut bread with it. I remember it being 440c steel. I thought it was the best stuff around. I even still have it tho it has been retired.
So in short... I guess my collection is an almost complete collection.
But for me it is in fours plus an axe. Chopper, Mid, small fixed (SK) and folder.
So far everything everyone has listed is a great knife.
I guess that really none of our collections are complete. We will keep buying them until our money or our wives give out.
Sorry for the loooong post. Today has been the Sh@#ttyst day of the past two whole weeks and these past two weeks were the worst!!! Hopefully next week will be better.
Posting this was theraputic for me. I need 5:00 PM.
