What are the specs, is it an actual SYKW offering?

To amplify, a DMDC with serrations if I remember correctly.

Here's the BladeForums post:
YOWZA!!!!. . . . Scrap Yard Mil. Overrun At The Razorganzaaaaa!!!

After much yelping from the pack (including myself), the terms of the contest were reversed so that we got the first minute instead of the Hogs. During the Razorganzaaa, they were labeled the Military Overrun Dog and were #7 in the list of knives offered, so they were referred to as MOD7s.

Also, they were released at $119.95; I've paid up to $170 on the secondary market for them, and have seen them sell for more, but that's as high as I've been willing to go.

I have a MOD 7, and I was wondering if it was a legit one or not.

Is there any way to tell just by looking at the knife to be sure it isn't a good looking copy?

Welcome to the Yard! Always nice to see another Hoosier here. I’ve never heard of a counterfeit SY knife, so you should be good. How to tell w/o looking, go whup on it and see if it breaks or not.

I think Andy and Stihl have said it right; go put it through some rough love, and if it stands up, then it's most likely legit!
