They came in today while I was out back. I am totally blown away this time! Jeff has exceeded even my high expectations this time. Check this out. I asked for two Busse sheaths in the same pattern he did for my DFLE, and a "nice" but nothing fancy machete sheath. Nothing fancy. Right. This thing is awesome!

Check out the palmetto leaves tooled into the leather. My gosh! No way my old Tram beater is worthy of this. So I got a new one I had done a polished convex edge on an put it in the sheath. Perfection. Extreme machete perfection!

With a cool baldric for easy carry and a detachable frog.

And now the Busse sheaths. Notice how Jeff made the sheath fit into the scallped front edge of the handle scales. Just magnificent.

And a nice little hidden tie down ring on the back.

And see how perfectly the Sarsquatch CE fits its sheath. Man was this worth the wait. Done in the exact color and style of my DFLE sheath.

I feel like a kid on Christmas morning. I hung the machete in the sheath up on my big book case so visitors will see it. It is the best art I have to show!

It is amazing to see Jeff's progression. His current work is absolutely stunning!

I have to congratulate you Vic. I suspect you are the proud owner of the most amazing sheath used for a Tram.

The scalloped part is just plain disgustingly freakish badass.

WOW!!! I'm so envious. You should have a Northwind in that sheath instead of the machete.

I would love one, Ted. Send it to me! As I said, the machete is disposable, the sheath is high art. Because of the terrain here, a machete is just perfect. Why not treat my most used knives well? Of course the one in the picture is not my everyday one. It is insane, I admit. But I have noticed that in Latin America they make these beautiful leather sheaths for their ordinary machetes. Men of all cultures have always adorned and embellished their tools and weapons. It's a man thing.

Just spectacular Vic!! I did a double-take when I saw that Tram handle though

Jeff is simply an extraordinary leather artist.
