Been looking for a folder for my EDC and am not finding anything Busse kin ? Any suggestions ? Thanks My EDC is a Swamp Rat "Rat Trap" made by Blade-Tech. Steel is S30V, handles are G10. Blade is just under 4". If you can't find one, this Blade-Tech frame lock is even more rugged. It is a bit pricey, though. Less expensive options are the Spyderco Endura lockback or the Military linerlock. Both are fine rugged folders. The Benchmade Deja voo is another favorite of mine.
Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

Maybe a Scrapyard Folder DeathChat???? As much as I love Scrappers and other Busse-kin knives, it is my opinion that there are others who can do folders quite well enough. Bear in mind that no folder could possibly be as tough as a good fixed blade. But some knives just don't need to be that tough. Even if Scrap Yard put their name on it, it would likely be contracted out to a company that specializes in folders.

Spyderco Mini-Manix or full size Manix if you want a tough folder. Good luck finding one though!

I like my Spydercos. I have:
Stainless Endura ZDP-189 Endura Waved Delica & Ladybugs in SS, Black & Orange.
I EDC a Ladybug and a Endura or Delica in addition to a small fixed blade.

Strider gets my #1 vote. Also really like Spydercos. Suckers cut like lasers.

I can't see spending big bucks on a folder, I just want a sharp reasonably tough tool that I can replace if need be. I love my $18 Ka-bar Doziers. Sharpest knife out of the box I have ever purchased with good fit and finish. Not quite the knife as my Native, but sharper, steamline, and a bunch cheaper. AI

Picked up this 1980's era SAK a couple of weeks ago, and have been using it on a pretty regular basis. In the spirit of the Yard (performance to cost superiority), I have to say that I only paid $9.00 Cdn for it.

Kershaw and Zero Tolerance are my first choices in folders. They make a great product, and will stand behind it 110%. Their Customer Service is truly top notch, as well.

When anyone says folders I have to say Strider.
Carried: CRK Sebenza, Rick Hinderer XM18, and Strider for the high end stuff. Also, many of the high end production knives such as Benchmade, Spyderco and some Kershaw.
In the end Strider by leaps and bounds!
