So, I went to the mailbox, expecting to pick up the usual bundle of seasonal bills, when I noticed that I had a package. Hmmm, wood working tool..? I don't seem to remember ordering any lately, but okay, let's bring it in the house and open 'er up!

Man, this thing is thicker and heavier feeling than the LE. Buddy that I got it off of was even kind enough to put an awesome convex edge on it. Top quality guy here for ya!

Now comes the tough part: Do I use the CG and safe queen the LE now.... or do I just say whatever and use both? LOL!

On a sidenote,:

(Gratuitous ASH1 shot..... Sorry guys, couldn't resist! LOL!)

On a serious note, I want to wish all you guys in the yard.... [Linked Image from i321.photobucket.com]
You guys are an amazing group of people, who from day one, made me feel welcome as one of you. Nowhere else have I been made to feel so comfortable, relaxed, and appreciated. [Linked Image from i321.photobucket.com]

I just want to say that I hope all of you have an awesome and amazing time during this holiday season. You all have my heartfelt thanks and apprecition for the friendship you've extended to me, and I hope I can someway reciprocate it.

Great knives!
I say use the LE and hide the CGDF in the backyard,
maybe in the BBQ...
Where do you live by the way? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

Head North, it'll get very, very cold, keep going. I'll let you know when you're getting close when I hear there's a search and rescue being put together for a lost City Boy from the states! LOL!

Nice steel. That ASH looks super thick. I do recall people refering to certain Busse blades as "fatties". Exactly how thick is a "fatty"?
