So, I had Jeff make me up some sheaths, and I gotta say, I'm in love with this mans' skill! He gave me some amazing sheaths, that are stylish, and will last me a lifetime! I spent this weekend carefully oiling my new leathers with some neatsfoot oil, which darkened it up a little, and made me feel like I was truly making it my own.

He made me a beautiful system for my Crash Axe, that can be a shoulder rig, or a belt dangler, with or without a leg strap.

And you have to handle the X-loop system he uses to truly appreciate it! Very sweet!

Here I've taken a little initiative, and put the shoulder rig for the CA, and the X-loop for my YK into a nice little double carry system. It's my new fave carry for the woods now!

I can very definitely say that I'll be bugging Jeff again for more leatherwork. Anyone here who hasn't had a sheath made my Jeff and is considering it, all you have to do is ask your fellow Dawgs, and they'll say the same as me; simply amazing guy, with an amazing talent! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/bowdown.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

Very nice. What's the little empty sheath for?

That's another sheath for an MPLE. I had it made to go with the MPLE I'll be giving to my nephew when he's shown himself to be responsible enough to handle a knife of his very own. Every boy should have a good fixed blade for whittling, etc.

Tyger,
This post shows you at about 900 posts....Ordawg and I were looking for you
last night when we made our run.
It would have been really cool to have 3 NEW JYD's instead of 2!
When are you going to make your run???

Cheers

I'm trying to slow my posts down so that I can try for JYD#75. Hopefully, I can convince a whole bunch of scrappers to make runs and gobble up some numbers! LOL!

Ooops! [Linked Image from i321.photobucket.com] C'mn guys, I need about 12 more scrappers to become JYDs so that I can be #75! LOL! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

I'm glad to see that all those pants made it home up there tyger75. I'm glad you like'm too. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

I really enjoyed making that CA sheath, looks like our collaboration on the design worked out real well! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" /> I want to make a similar setup for mine eventually possibly with the addition of a matching Swamp Warden I have. Someday... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif" alt="" />

Looks like the Neetfoot oil gave them a nice touch too. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

Thanks guys for the complements. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Tyger, that is quite a collection of stunning leather products! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/bowdown.gif" alt="" />

When it comes to the benchmark for high quality leather goods with a true custom fit in my honest opinion no one does it better than my dear friend Jeff. Every time he sends out another sheath it seems to make it here in a post.

Why? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

Because the owner has discovered his dreams come true in leather by Rainwalker. He is constantly exceeding your wildest expectations and when you do see them it is a must to share with friends like us who appreciate that level of leather craftsmanship. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

So thanks for sharing this beautiful score Pat. You have a leather legacy now that can be passed down for at least two generations! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" />

Jeff....what can I say. Another home run! You did magnificent again on Tygers hoard of steel. How proud you have made him of his steel and his choice in sheath makers!

Well done both of you! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

Peace.
