Hey, RS are you not getting in on the S5? hey man, yea im not going to get one. i dont have a use for it in all honesty. i have a DMCG and i mean its just the knife of my dreams. it can do anything and even more than the S5 but the S5 is nice. REALLY nice.

I highly disagree! the s5 would be way more practical for all kinds of uses. ... honestly you would have a TON of uses for it! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> it can do things the s5 can't... cut! (really well at least) you will regret it man... and the price is right too! I'm going to do everything I can to get one. (though I wishit was a tad bigger)

i find it hard to find use for the short&tough knives. short and sharp, that's much better. the d mutt is a mini big knife and the s5 is the big cutter. both 'jack of all trades, master of none' to me.
at least the d mutt has a niche. more purpose built. the s5 probably is more practical overally, but i've never touched it so can't say.
